A selection of awesome things to do in and around Plett

About Plettenberg Bay

Plettenberg Bay or known locally as Plett, is a seaside town on the Garden Route in South Africa’s Western Cape Province.

The sandy Central Beach and Lookout Beach both have surf breaks. To the south, Robberg Nature Reserve is a rocky peninsula with trails and the Stone Age Nelson Bay Caves. Northeast are Birds of Eden, a free-flight bird sanctuary as well as Monkeyland and an indigenous forest. Whales come near the coast in migration season. It also has lagoons and estuaries, towering indigenous forests and unpolluted rivers, vineyards and wine estates.

Plettenberg Bay offers loads of activities from leisure to adrenaline-filled fun. Plett is home to wildlife sanctuaries, game reserves, whale and dolphin watching, birding, canoeing and kayaking, sailing … and so much more.

Join us on an Animal Encounter Experience where we take you to the three main animal sanctuaries as well as the Knysna Elephant Park.
