Knysna Elephants, Wine & Catamaran Day Trip offers a great mix of sights and activities. At the Knysna Elephant park in Harkerville you are able to get up close and personal with these gentle giants, after which we venture to the neighbouring boutique wine farm of Luka Vineyards for a wine tasting and lunch stop. Once replenished we head back to the Knysna Heads view point, and then enjoy a beautiful sunset cruise on the Knysna Lagoon.

Knysna Elephants, Wine & Catamaran Day Trip is a full day tour offering a visit to the Knysna Elephant Park, wine tasting at Luka Vineyards and a sunset cruise on the Knysna Lagoon with the Knysna Heads Explorer.
Knysna Elephant Park:
The Knysna Elephant Park (est. 1994) was the first facility in South Africa to house and care for orphaned African elephants. Over the last twenty years, the park has cared for and raised more than forty elephants. These animals include relocated animals, orphaned calves, elephants rescued from culls and ex-circus animals. Some have become part of the resident herd, others have moved onto other reserves and facilities in the Western and Eastern Cape, depending on their personalities, bonds with other animals and welfare needs.
Luka Vineyard
Luka Vineyard is a boutique wine farm between Knysna and Plettenberg Bay. It offers beautiful views over the adjoining Knysna Elephant Park to the distant mountain ranges of the Outeniqua and Tsitsikamma mountains.
Knysna Heads Explorer
Explore the Knysna Lagoon up to the Heads and out to sea (weather permitting) on the beautiful catamaran, The Heads Explorer. Laze on our trampolines while you enjoy the views with a glass of bubbly in hand.
